Our Story
Back in late 2010, not long after the success of the TV series "The Choir", professional opera singer Victoria Simmonds was asked by a friend if she had ever thought about starting a local choir. She thought this was an excellent idea, and proceeded to put up posters inviting people to come along and sing. She had no idea how many might turn up, but to her delight, 25 people arrived for that first rehearsal, and thus, on 11th January 2011, West Harrow Choir was born. We are now a mixed choir of between 30-40 men and women, performing regularly for local charity events.
